Youth and Play

Youth & Play Team Approach

Our work focuses on improving the quality of life for people in areas of greatest need and is underpinned by principles of sustainability, and quality, and we have been successful in obtaining the ISO, OHSAS, IIP, IIV quality marks.

Our Youth and Play work is driven by the identified needs and desires of local young people, whilst simultaneously underpinning the major strategic priorities of Nottingham City Council, Notts County Council, and Gedling, Broxtowe and Rushcliffe Borough Councils.

All of our Youth and Play work is structured around the Every Child Matters framework (Fig A). Our sessions are delivered in a safe, encouraging environment with our staff adhering to stringent minimum standards, and being fully trained in health and safety, risk assessment and safeguarding.

We are proud of our high standards, and if working in partnership with others, we strive to support all delivery to be of the highest calibre, and share best practice to ensure consistency of approach, and peace of mind for the young people we serve, and their parents/carers.
